Pitkin County (Aspen) is going to require visitors to sign affidavit that they have had a negative COVID test in last 3 days or quarantine until a negative test or 14 days have elapsed. Visitors are defined as anyone arriving from outside of Pitkin, Eagle or Garfield Counties. I just checked with our hotel on this. From what they told me, it's definitely being discussed but nothing official yet.

Hotel just contacted us....it is official. Have to get a COVID test and sign an online affidavit. Also got an email saying they're only doing half day lessons for kids, which we have a 4, 6, and 7 year old. That really puts a cramps our trip. I'm seriously contemplating cancelling now. All of this, along with a lot of the mountain being closed. Maybe we'll try again in February/March.

I’m not you, but if I were you I wouldn’t spend a dime on this trip. Find another mountain/county to enjoy.
