Great job Bayou Tiger Fan Too!
At 64 I finally decided I was tired of being "the fat guy in the room" and did pretty much the same as you. Started eating healtheir, smarter, nothing or very little "white" (sugar, rice, potatoes, flour, etc) and walking. I have a nice 3.5 mile trek that has gentle rolling hills and usually takes me 50 - 55 minutes. Yes, I still have a steak, some gumbo, a burger but limit it.
I'm 67 and down 48 pounds and determined to keep it off.
Also. Drink lots of water and stay off diet soda.
