His plan was very well thought out and he was hands down the best candidate this year. What is going to happen is a lot of people are going to fight tooth and nail against change, and then we will get some terrible formation of UBI, potentially not Universal, not funded in a way where it benefits the largest number of people, etc.

Any society that just gives people money to exist and expects nothing else is doomed to have issues.
Lack of employment fuels crime rates.
