This is only about half true in 2020. I don’t believe in god but I also don’t have the same hatred in me that has grown in many atheists. Politics has become a religion of its own, this is mostly on the left obviously with some very small amount on the right. The Corporate Press and Tech are both just fine with others attacking your beliefs in god and it is a tactic being openly used. Why it is happening is the most disturbing aspect though and I also don’t see this stopping. People who aren’t religious should have a priority in keeping the first amendment alive but we have seen this year there are double standards, protests have been encouraged by not just the media but politicians at the same time these people want churches closed.
