Okay, sorry, I thought you were just hating on the boat brand. Thats the main reason I'm asking because of the transom and gunnel heights. I don't wanna go out their and get swamped. I'm asking what would be good conditions so that won't be a problem.

There aren't any good conditions for running the river in a low freeboard boat. Plenty of freighters and crew boats that will sink you before you know what's happening. Take a charter first so you can learn and appreciate what it takes to fish out of Venice down the river.
Don't mean to be negative, this question comes up a lot and my reply is always the same. It can be very dangerous down there, even for the experienced.
