Lake borgne was getting choppy yesterday so we didn't try crossing. About 1/3 across was getting 1-2' white caps from the west wind. We are in an xpress h22b with a 200 yamaha.
Pointe Aux Chenes is our go to, I'm more of a fight oriented guy so I've learned where to target bull reds and small blacktips out there. I would like to find some places where I can catch very large trout on very light tackle. I only keep fish when my freezer gets low, and refish is my favorite inshore fish anyway.
