Why bother expressing my ideas when you've already got me figured out? I'm indoctrinated and can not be reasoned with, because I'm one of "them." This is your starting point for a conversation, before I've even said anything. Seriously, I haven't even made an argument and I've been identified as the enemy and lumped in with god knows whom. I'd have to spend most of my time unpacking all the crap you're bringing to the table, your preconceptions and stereotypes of your perceived opposition, all the stuff you're projecting onto me before you could even start to have an honest conversation.

I think you're probably happier living with the conclusions you've already reached.
