There would have been a lot more criticism if he didn’t recruit him. The fact they signed Brennan too indicates they knew Narcisse was far from a sure thing. If they didn’t take Narcisse, they would have taken Keayton Thompson and he was a bust too.
2015 and 2016 when they took lowly ranked Justin McMillan and Lindsey Scott were the real head scratchers. Even then a lot of people were white knighting for Scott.
