EXACTLY. The mask has become the left's Hijab.
Why don't I just wear the mask? Because I don't fricking want to. That's why. If you are worried about ME infecting you, then stay home. I understand and take no offense if you do. On flip side, I'm not asking you to "keep me safe" by wearing a mask and if I get covid I won't hold you responsible.
I guess this is now a foreign concept, but adults used to be able to perform their OWN daily risk assessments and act accordingly.
