Let's be fair, he was a crucial player last year, as well. He showed seriousness and leadership (something always somehow only seen by Flo and Zizou, when he was cocking it up for eons).

I’ve always thought that he took longer than he should to actually play himself into form at the beginning of the season—even during years when he played really well
