It is not about the best teams. It is about the TV money...
If tOSU is undefeated (likely) and Clem, LSU, Bama, or UGA is as well you can expect ESPN and the CFP committee to figure out how to get these teams in line to face off in CFP.
After Clemson shite the bed last year and all the SEC teams top players left you can bet that Justin Fields will be the media darlin
