Those are the top 5 courses in the area in my opinion. They are also 5 big boy golf courses that can punch you in the mouth if you aren't on top of your game as well though.

If you have some high handicappers in your group you may also want to consider throwing one of the shorter courses into the mix. PH #1 and #3 are good options for that. Both old Donald Ross designs but are much shorter and easier to play. Good for afternoon rounds after getting ejected by #2 if you are playing 36 hole days.

I’ve lived in Pinehurst for over 25 years. You have done a great job explaining the courses. It’s obvious that you have a feel for the area.
