I used to work with a strict Catholic guy that had 10 kids. He was a grandfather at like 40. His wife drove one of those huge extended full sized vans.
He was a software developer and probably made pretty decent money but his wife obviously didn't work. You'd still be in the poor house making 100k with 10 kids.
