I'm really curious how strict they are on the mask policy with small kids. My son is 2 (26 months) and there's no way he'll keep a mask on. He's just not gonna understand. I have no problems wearing one but that could get tricky if they are nazis about it. Maybe I could just say he's under 2? He'll be in a stroller. Has anyone had any experience with this so far this year ?

My wife saw them make a lady put a mask on her 2 year old who was sleeping in the stroller. Mask was on, but it had fallen below his nose. Kid woke up when the mom did it.

If you can pull off the "he's only 1" trick, then more power to you, but I honestly wouldn't take a kid who won't wear a mask right now. They'll kick you out and trespass you.

Just got back yesterday from a week long trip. My youngest is 2.5. (32 months).

He wore the mask a couple days. But after the 4th day I was done making him wear it. During our last three days at park/resort I was told he needed a mask 5-6 times total. I just told them each time he turns 2 next month. Each time they would just say “oh ok. Just made it by” my son is in the 55 percentile of height and weight and fairly advanced vocally. So most likely they knew I was full of shite but had no way to prove it.
