lasty, is the meal plan something we should buy? i suspect that we will be gone from sun up to sun down and i don't think our hotel room will have a kitchen - nor do i really want to cook while away.
Meal plans are not currently offered. Also park hours are reduced to 8 or 9’hours per day depending on the park. They may open it back up some by then, not sure. But, you can book dining reservations 60 days out. Character dining/ buffets are shut down Too for now so the restaurants are limited, but still a good selection of options in Epcot.

And in addition to your park tickets, you’ll need to make park reservations for each day. You will need the tickets before you can do that. They have 3 categories of reservations, annual pass holders, single day ticket holders, and resort guests with tickets. Several days the week of Thanksgiving are already showing only limited parks available. You can check it here.
