I was coming in to say this. They were playing for a Big 10 title in their last game, we've had multiple Michigan teams since then post way worse seasons.
I will say that bowl game took me by surprise. Michigan started going 5 wide and Henne and Hart ate that defense up. I don't understand where all that came from because they didn't really do all that shite earlier in the season but it was a fun game to watch.
