2005 Tennessee was picked to win the SEC I believe, instead: first losing season in forever and first loss to Vandy in forever. They did beat LSU in that bizarre Monday night game. But as a program they were never really the same after that

the game SELA needed to try to lift the spirits after Hurricane Katrina

everyone knew it wasn't going to be that Saints team... Haslett was already on the hot seat and everyone knew before the storm that Saints team was going to be .500 at best (that said... Carney kicking the game winner at Carolina in week 1 on 9/11/05 was kinda cathartic)

the LSU game against Arizona St. that was supposed to be in BR but was moved to Tempe was a good win

but that Monday night game against Tennessee in BR I think was our official introduction to bad Les Miles... only no one realized it at the time
