2016 UGA was pretty bad.

Record wasn't as bad as the team actually played. They finished 8-5 but were extremely painful to watch.
2003 Auburn is another one that comes to mind. They had super high expectations going into the season and then got bitch slapped at home by USC to open their season. Ended up finishing 7-6.
Turns out the high expectations were a year too early for them.
