This is the way to go but look at the field really close...lots of those fields are baited and its the person with the gun and the license who takes to ticket not the bastard who slung cracked corn all over the place. If there is an inordinate amount of cracked corn in a mowed pasture and swarms of dove proceed with caution....
I can't speak of public land hunts in south georgia but there are some decent ones in north georgia. Berry College used to be really good and for some reason never overly crowded. Bartow WMA was also good. If the GA DNR can prepare a field properly in North Georgia odds are good they can do so in south georgia and there will be way more birds....

This is a very good point. As an out of state hunter, I dont expect any sort of lenancy from the game warden.
