A great many people say, with the 2 MVPs as evidence, that's he's the best player in the NBA.

He is nowhere near the level of Lebron or Kawhi, or a healthy KD or Curry.

In that sense, he's overrated. If you have him just outside your top 3, then he's likely properly rated. I don't think anyone can make a great argument that he'd be one of the top 3 dudes you'd choose to start a playoffs right now, again, assuming health for all players.

That's obviously overstating, but he certainly lacks the offensive ability to be that go to guy late in big games compared to elite players, or that a back to back MVP should have.
