Living with a parent is a wonderful way to save money, increase family ties, and help your elders. At some point, I think the Realtors Association of America made it taboo to live with one's parents past the teen years. It was a grand conspiracy to boost their business, much like De Beers and diamonds. The gullible fell for their ploy and even today insult those who are frugal and deeply love and want to care for their parents by living with them.
