Day 3 done!

With the warm up I was at 70min. I always have a hard time picking weights for the warm ups and think I went a little heavy on those. Lower back was a little tight after warmups (which took about 15 min including stretching).

For the squats I read the notes and deliberately took 5-7 seconds on the way down then normal up. I decided to take a few seconds pause at the top on the last few sets. That burn was STRONG.

I did the deadlifts exactly as prescribed in 10x3 with 75s rests. Since my gym reopened and expanded there's 3 racks and 1 smith machine. I'm not worried about hogging a rack. I've never seen more than 2 in use during my workout time.

I don't have any measurements for farmer's walk, so I just grab the DBs and walk ~50 steps in a large circle.

I think the worst part today is my weak grip. Between the deadlifts and farmer's walk (no gloves or straps), my hands are killing me.

Enjoying Squatober so far! Workouts are tough but manageable. It's also helping me get some good sleep at night.

Day 4! Heavy ones tomorrow!

I love the quote in the comments:

Day 4 down!

Workouts have been pretty consistent length for me. Today was right at 1:15. I was a little nervous on the heavy squats, but I think they were easier than the heavy bench/chins SS.

Looking forward to finishing the week strong!
