How do "the states that touch LA" stats look compared to LA? At one point, we had the second or third worse stats in the country, per capita.
TX/MS/AR were not nearly as bad as LA.
For the past 2 week period, LA is 23rd in the country in cases per 100k residents
MS is 8
AR is 10
TX is 19
LA is still #1 in total cases per 100K going back to the start, but obviously people who were sick 6 months ago don't really factor into starting up football now. However, for all time
MS is 3
TX is 11
AR is 14
So it's not like those 3 states are miles apart and better than LA, and we are currently trending better than all 3
