Not woke enough. Until they align themselves more fully with the stated goals of BLM and support the TRANS community and the abolishment of the nuclear family I’m OUT. LSU must make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead. That means the team MUST IMMEDIATELY INTEGRATE THE TEAM WITH A SPECIFIC TRANS-QUOTA. When I say we need Patrick Queen , I’m not talking about some linebacker from Livonia, if you get my drift. But I digress...

LSU must be self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence. This starts in the locker room !

(We can talk about how LSU football can help disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another later.)
