I would think that a Ginsburg death would be likelier to rev up Republicans, not Democrats. The Kennedy retirement and Kavanaugh confirmation battle in 2018, for instance, was credited by McConnell as having revved up the conservative vote and making 2018 less of a blue wave than it would have been otherwise.
