Drugs and the outdoors got me through spring and summer but good god idk how to cope if this shite is still here when the weather turns cold.
I feel you. I take daily meds, and I did my fair share of drinking this past summer and spring. The outdoors is about the extent of what you can do, but they’ve been closing beaches here because there’s been a flock of tourists. It’s been a major adjustment for me. I used to attend about 35 games a year for our Double A team. It’s been different filling up that time.

I’ve learned through all of this that there’s more to life than sports. I’ve worked on my fitness more than anything. Lost 30 lbs, got lean, and got my old body back. I’ve talked to my dad more, which has been hard since my mom passed, and I’ve worked harder than I ever had. You need to find some positives. I turn 40 in two months and I’ve made this the most productive year of my life personally. Sure, not having LSU football sucks, but there’s more to life if you allow yourself to see it. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)
