They’ve all come up with plans. And almost every district in an urban area (with a large media presence) has folded to avoid negative publicity.

They all know the risk is low. They just don’t want their school on the front page of the paper.

ETA: a local school super told me the above almost verbatim. He had planned 5 day face to face education, but no one else in St. Louis was doing it. So he didn’t.

So, he is a coward...

The folks here, not so much cowards as they are inept... They already started a 5 day schedule last Thursday with very little public outcry (the usual Karen's) and are now looking at shifting to a blended schedule...
