We have no idea in the final third and it predictably leads to nervous defending. Looks like every game in the last 3 months against bottom table EPL sides. Pass the ball around sideways from 30 yards out, pass it backwards, repeat sideways passing until the ball is turned over. Salah and Jota couldn’t have combined for more than 15 touches in that first half. There has to be a complete tactical overhaul at the half or we won’t sniff a goal

Maybe he’ll bring on Bobby for Gini or Phillips at the half. It’s a precarious spot because you don’t want to chase the tie with 3 halves left, but if we don’t get an away goal they can just pack it in at Anfield

Whatever we spend on defenders this next transfer window isn't enough...

This one is on Klopp. No two ways about it.

Terrible idea to try a possession based game against RM. Keita and Gini in this match made no sense. It was SCREAMING for Thiago and Bobby from early on to stifle that midfield clog.

All they did was stack the center of the pitch and they lay direct on the counter. Just like every other fricking club has done to us when we haven’t had Jota/Fabs/Thiago on the pitch.

I love Klopp, but making a sub at the 40’ mark is obvious shite-canning of your original tactics. Additionally, Gini should have come off and Bobby on earlier.

We have to add depth to our forward spots this window.
