Levi's description of the possibility of a rainless, almost cloudless center of circulation for Marco as wind shear pushes the clouds and rain northeast into Mississippi and Alabama while the dry center of circulation parallels the Louisiana coastline headed west is fascinating.

Yes. Levi is the best. So it’s possible, regarding Marco, that Louisiana gets dry- ISH wind, and Mississippi and Alabama get most of marco’s rain. (If the storm decouples.)

Laura is still a little shaky. I worry that her more southern track/over mountainous terrain for less amount of time —will indeed allow her to strengthen more, especially since the gulf is so hot. But we still don’t know if Texas gets the worst of her or Louisiana. Or if she’ll 50/50 half Texas and half Louisiana
