youtube of method used to bypass need for a key

Apparantly it is getting common in NOLA.

The UK has like a serious problem of people stealing cars that is almost bizarre

Its definitely easier to steal manual cars with electronic systems

But the US has cut down thefts by more than half in the last 15 years with just locking them out without the key

The UK has gone up in thefts

Still don't know why anyone would even bother these days. You are going to get caught if you jack a car newer than 5 years old for sure.

The club was a joke. Steering wheels to this day are made of a cheap copper core that bends easily in the case of a wreck. Thieves, the good ones anyway, learned it was very easy to "cut"the steering wheel with a manual hacksaw, bend the steering wheel at the cut, remove the club, and then bend it back before ever fooling with the ignition.

Saw it many times. Even did it to a friend as a prank. Took him a few days to realize how I got his club off, his car moved and the club put back on without the keys and such.
