Jeez bro. I would never leave shite on my neighbors side of the property line. Also, what’s it set you back? Like $50 and 2 hours to fix the fricking fence. Way less than all this emotional bullshite.
Also if your neighbor is having this “I want us to get along” approach, he is clearly a bitch. You should kill him and be done with it.

Had an issue where i moved in and my neighbors yard looks like complete shite. High grass that hasnt been cut for months and highly overgrown flowers on top of his house. Well i cut maybe a couple feet onto his property so my yard doesnt look like shite. Dude rings my doorbell asking why i cut his property. Dude never introduced himself. I continue to cut those few feet of his property, because frick him.
