He did not have the killer instinct or “it” factor. He found ways to lose games rather than win them.

Actually the exact opposite. Jamarcus was incredibly clutch in his career when games were close:

2004 v. Oregon State: In his first game ever he comes in for an ineffective Randall and converts a fourth down and throws a touchdown and runs for 2 to tie the game with a minute left in the game.

2004 v. #11 Iowa: Comes in for ineffective Randall & Flynn, throws TD to take the lead with just over a minute left. (we lose on fluke hail mary).

2005 v. #15 Arizona State on the road: throws a 4th down 40 yard touchdown to win the game with 1 minute left.

2005 v. #4 Alabama on the road: throws a TD in overtime to win the game.

2006 v. #8 Tennessee on the road: throws TD with 9 seconds left to win the game.

2006 v. Ole Miss: throws 4th down TD with 14 seconds left to send game to overtime.
