"Cinderblock Baptist"
Fire, brimstone, Hell and damnation are pounded at the pulpit. That's how I was raised my entire childhood. I have 2 uncles that are long time Holiness & Assembly of God pastors. I was raised to fear God and fear for my life if I sinned. I remember burning cassette tapes of Led Zepplin/ACDC/Stones in barn fires outside on church grounds because they taught us that was Satan music. It was all so ridiculous when I think back to those sermons and teachings.

Once an adult, I moved away from that rigid teaching and always got more from a pastor that taught with a loving, kind, and reverent approach. Our God is a merciful God.

Assembly of God.

I had an uncle who was an Assembly of God Pastor. He is gone now. The thing is, I really liked him, but we had some interesting conversations.

God gave me a vision once that involved him (Long story). I'm not sure he ever got over the fact the God gave it to me.
