I ran wire to all the places that made sense to do and plan to use POE for cameras. I also added extra wiring for AP's, and ran two lines to a detached garage, one for use, and one for spare.
I'm quite sure I have way more wire than I need, but would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
I wanted to have wired connections for TV's and work space locations, everything else can be wireless. Was able to just secure the new Netgear Orbi wifi 6 equipment, so super excited about having that.
