Kind of related but I know of two homes being built right now and the price that was quoted for ethernet drops was ridiculous. $75 a drop. I feel like I should open up a side hustle and do them for $40-50 a drop and make out like a bandit.

With WiFi being faster and increasingly capable and ubiquitous, why the need for Ethernet access everywhere? Security and what else?
