What is the greatest decade in history to have been a teenager in?

I am somewhat biased but I'm going to go ahead and say the 90's.
We had the music and the old "when the street lights turn on it's time to go home" way of life.
People still knew their neighbors and looked out for each other.
Simpler place and time.

90s was awesome.
I was 16 in 1999 and I was definitely living my best life.
It's also the last decade before smartphones and social media, so it was the last best decade.
Today sucks

I'd say the 1790's. Men were men and not bitches, the founding fathers were running the country, and you could challenge anyone to a dual if you had a beef.

Hands down, 1130s. Chicks were so horny back then.

Whigs showed social status. I doubt you would have had one.

You are correct. I've never even considered being a Liberal.

I call em like I see em baw. They were Liberals, in their time.

Men wore whigs because they were having so much sex and contacting syphilis, which causes sores on the head.
They hid them with whigs

The one you were a teenager in. Unless you're a teenager today. That would suck.

In BR?
I would say the 1970s. You have AC by this point, and the city still retains some of the old demographics. It's still essentially an overgrown college town w/plants.
This is still true in the '80s but clearly showing signs of strain. By the end of the '90s the new demos have pretty much shattered this old BR, and it's just another Southern city w/all the problems that entails.

Probably some bias because I grew up in the 80s, but that's what I'd go with. The newness of things like Arcades, VCRs, and cable tv and the variety of great music in pretty much every genre for most of the decade.
It was also a great decade for seeing movies in theaters and probably the last decade that was totally void of the PC bullshite.

Awesome Dale. I appreciate the 80's, as it made the 90's that much better. The DVD/CD era began, as well as the Nintendo/PlayStation wars.
80's music no doubt opened the door for genres to expand and develop in the 90's.
