Emery Jones is the most underrated on that list.

Kid is going to be a stud Olman.

Welch pretty much shut down Brian Thomas and Chris Hilton last season. Definitely high-end ability.

Not that ESPN rankings matter but looks like they have Mathews ranked higher than our safties.

He went head to head against them plus Quincy Brown from Destrehan in the championship game, who is no slouch either. That’s about as tough of a 3 game stretch in the playoffs anyone is going to make in high school ball. And he held the three of them to around 125 yds total.

Hopefully we can land these 13 and maybe more. Seems like this will be a bigger instate class than the last two. Anyone else agree?

They have offered Emery Jones and Shone Washington, which they don't do in-state unless they want them. The rest seem to be 4* guys which are usually a take for in-state guys unless there are just too many at a given position.
Since Coach O insists we are going after 2 RB this year, I really don't see us taking 2 next year. Since TreVonte' Citizen (4*) is not on the list, we are good. This still leaves room for 10+ out of state elites.

We won’t take that many in state kids with the way we’re recruiting nationally. I see 8-10 on that list making it in with the other 15-17 being OOS.

Do we know if Welch already has an offer? Just asking because 247 doesn't show him or Tapp having one. I know that may be incorrect.

Top 2022 RB Raleek Brown is from Cali and was just praising how we recruit him, so it would be idiotic to think we go after both LA RBs if we land him

Yeah, until we get an elite RB out of state, I'll say push for the Louisiana RBs. We've missed on every elite out of state RB since landing Spencer Ware way back in 2010. Anyway, if we can pull off Hargrove, we won't need 2 RBs next year.
