My girlfriend of 9 years never vote for the same guy. Except in 2012 Presidential election.
She's voted for Trump twice now. I won't vote for him. It barely comes up as a joke around friends but never an issue between us.

I definitely couldn't date/marry a pussy hat wearing, hardcore progressive. We wouldn't like each other anyway so it wouldn't be an issue.
The wife and I aren't exactly the same on politics but we are pretty close and have similar values. That certainly makes things easier imo. Neither of us are really in to politics that much anyway. We don't even really watch the news.
