I've got an old 2.5 ton in a 1535 sq ft house. Poor old gal is struggling hard. Set at 74, but it got to 80 in the house yesterday.

Did that big high pressure bubble over Texas finally start moving? Thing covers the whole mid-south.... That’s the fricker causing this shitty heat...

This was the about setup in our first house and it had no shade. It struggled to keep it below 80 on really hot days.
