Many people are simply imprisoning their children.

In a few years, there's going to be an explosion of mental health issues faced by these young pawns in a Political game.

Brah I've been saying the same thing.

Unlike the school aged children, thankfully (I guess and hope) my son is only 10 months old and was born just a few short months before all of this started.

I'm constantly giving my wife ultimatums like, " I'm telling you, I'm taking him to Wal Mart to browse and people watch. Frick this virus! Frick the mayor! I'm not having a Jeffrey Dahmer on my hands!"

Only since it has become crystal clear that he should be A-OK here recently have I started following through on those ultimatums, and we have made it a point to get him around other kids at pool parties and other safe, government-sanctioned events because, like I said in a highly-downvoted post back in the spring when it was really popping off, this "game" is going to affect this country (and world) in ways going in the future that we couldn't (and still can't) fathom, and the effect that it has on the psyche of a generation of children- especially young children who are in school- could very well be one of them.

Or not.

Who knows?

One thing I do know is that the year 2020 will be the cutoff/beginning point for a new, named generation just like 9/11.

Regardless, it's not good for the most sociable creature of them all, especially the youngsters, to have socialization stripped from them for 18 months straight- ESPECIALLY if it was all for fun and political games. Raising kids is not all that different than raising up a highly trained gundog, and the basis of ALL dog training starts when they are pups, and the foundation of them being productive, enjoyable comrades going into the future begins and ends with socialization.

Why would a human being be any different? They wouldn't, and they're not. Au contraire, socialization has been the bedrock for all of man's most advanced civilizations since the beginning of time, and at a young age every little bit counts.

I hate a damn politician.
