Kids actually seem excited about going to Vegas. Since I have never been there before am I missing something?

I'm with several of the posters. Kids may be excited about Vegas, but will they understand. It will also be really hot. Vegas is really for adults, although they do have some things catered to kids. Your wife will enjoy it so much more as adults only. Someone mentioned rafting on the Arkansas. We did it near Buena Vista, CO, and we had a great time. But I don't know about a three-year old. That could complicate thngs.
