1st: these schools, public and private, have rules. Some of the rules are ethics based and intentionally vague to cover things like this in court. At LSU there is a “Student Code of Conduct”. This code threatens to control and CAN remove students for doing something deemed unbecoming.....like dressing up blackface for Halloween parties or putting up a nazi flag. They can remove the student in question, but will open Pandora’s box. I fully expect this to happen.
2nd: how do you fight it? Take away their power. Someone has to have the balls to call their bluff and defend free speech and end this none sense.
Maybe we can go back to the days where college football was played by actual college students.....
