Well Clay does work for Fox and has been playing the political game since Trump came along.
I don't know why him on Fox News would be shocking to anyone. He's been on there several times in the past because of his new schtick of being political more so than sports related, or interjecting politics in every sports story he does.
CNN invited him on once and quickly cut him off when they realized he was trolling - dude ended just going on air so he could say "boob." I'm sure he was a model guest with Tucker tossing him those softballs.
