I have worked NASCAR events. Security is extremely tight in and around the garage area. NO ONE is allowed in there without a credential.

NASCAR knows who did this or should be able to figure it out very quickly.

As for security cameras, I cannot speak to that. You would think they would have some kind of surveillance, but live security is ALWAYS present and those crews practically live in the garage on race weekend.

It was probably just a REALLY stupid joke, or security guard was in on it, or it is a Jussie Smollet situation.

This 100%. I would bet you could get into a locker room before you could get into the garage area. Especially during the race while every one is on pit road. Its been like that for 20+ years. Millions of dollars of equipment just sitting around.

If it is a Jussie Smollet situation, Bubba Wallace needs to, at a minimum, be issued the same punishment that Kyle Larson received. I would argue that the "Jussie" maneuver is worse due to that little thing called the First Amendment protecting speech.
