Check out some videos by a guy that posts them on u-tube called "Kayak Catfishing" and watch the monsters he pulls out of the Tennessee River. He's also a catch and release guy.
Usually where I fish there are several other folks trying their luck, so many times I'll give what I catch to someone since many of them are fishing to put food on the table. Once I have enough in my freezer, I tend to give them away or release them.
