That's how you end up getting fired. No thanks.

This. If you are making any posts on social media, I would steer far away from any current events or really anything remotely addressing societal or political issues. It also wouldn't hurt to go through your old posts and delete posts that talk about such things. You never know when some a-hole will go find something you said 10 years ago. Unfortunately, that's where we have landed as a society. If you're going to try to "talk sense into people" 1) it's likely not going to work and may jeopardize a friendship; but if you must 2) do it in person and in private

Unfortunately, I agree with you. At least you don't have to fight back with your life, yet. That's the real dilemma isn't it? We, as conservatives, would have to sacrifice in order to fight back. Not our lives, but perhaps our friendships or maybe even our jobs and livelihoods.

But that's the case with any war is it not? Does anyone doubt that we aren't in the middle of a war of some kind?

Until conservatives are ready to sacrifice (and I'm speaking of myself here as well) we will continue to look up and see this onward march towards wherever it is these people are taking us.

We were already disallowed from electing our own president. For 4 years they've done everything in their power to undo that election. Feels more like they're just having their way at this point. When are we that kid on the playground who finally has enough of the bully and snaps? Maybe we're "silent" because we are indeed passive?
