Yes. It's become a battleground lately and I think it's important to try and talk some sense into some of my friends and family that have gotten themselves so worked up that they're ready to go out and do something stupid.

And lately, over the last couple of days, I think the good guys are starting to regain control.

I agree with you. The time of saying, "frick it I'll wait for the election" seems past.

I think we HAVE to begin making people question their prior assumptions, which have been force fed to them and never questioned.

I realize you have to tread lightly, but the Socratic method is still very effective and can be done in a less antagonistic way.

Yes, I had one that was on a local facebook site that was going after people for not bending the knee. I thoroughly eviscerated her so badly that she proclaimed that I should be ashamed of myself for attacking a 19 year old just out of high school. I didn't attack. I used reason, logic and facts. After that, everybody piled on and she was gone. Couldn't take the fire.
