That’s the thing though. They aren’t doing it to their own towns. It’s organized out of towners.

They looted deep ellum in Dallas ffs. That’s as grungy/anti establishment/etc as it gets. No local would think of that as a place to destroy as some “symbol” of destroying oppression. They’d pick uptown if they wanted that.
