When I played in High School I could reach (from the tees they had us playing) at least one par 4 per 9 with my driver and every par 5 in 2. That is to say it was possible, not that I actually did it. I have only hit maybe 2-3 par 4 greens off the tee, normally I was all around the green and should have used an iron off the tee.

I remember getting on the green from the tee at Dumas once, then 3 putted for par. It was glorious.

If you have ever played at CCL, I can't use my driver or 3 wood on number 8 unless I am playing from the bears (tips) then I can pull the 3 wood. Otherwise I will roll it into the creek.

My length is probably one of the biggest flaws in my game. It is hard to be on a 340 yard par 4 and say "let me hit the 4i or 5w and give myself a solid 100 yards in" when the devil on the other shoulder is saying "pull the driver, rip it as hard as you can, and get on the green you got this". That normally ends up OB or under a tree and cursing the second impact is made.
