I don’t know the answer but both sides need to accept a loss this year and play. The NHL and NBA are crushing them right now.
Let’s say no baseball this season, play next year, then a strike year? Might as well fold the league. Both sides are being massive douchebags

Agreed.
I've said this in a different thread, but the MLB pissed away an absolute golden opportunity in this pandemic to absolutely monopolize TV with the entire country sitting at home craving sports, and they would've done insane ratings and potentially even rebuilt some semblance of a casual fan following.
But in typical fashion, the MLB — both sides — chose to step over a dollar to pick up a dime, and sacrificed medium/long term growth potential to maximize short term leverage, thus continuing to further alienate casual fans and accessions.
